Dec 1--Out of the 15 teams from different colleges that competed in UP TMS's ARTOURISTA: THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE held in Palma Hall 400 4-6pm, only one group emerged to bag the P10,000 solo prize, barely 3 points ahead of the first runner-up.
The quiz show explored the link of tourism and the arts. Categories were Motion Picture, Visual Arts, Music & Dance, Television, and Literature.
Program started exactly 4:30 with a prayer. The Chief Executive delivered the objective of the event through an introductory remark.
UP TMS invited Mr. Ivan Anthony Henares, a known blogger and heritage conservationist, to serve as the technical panel of ARTOURISTA.
The event was organized by the Finance and Marketing Department through Michelle Manalac, Cheska Llamas, Mandee Carreon, Charmaigne Dalisay, Jennica Reyes, and Jhona Bajar.
Special thanks were given to the organization's partner in the endeavor, the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, with the Film Development Center of the Philippines, OICA, and Mr. Herbert Bautista.
